Abbott Energy Pitches Street Lights Program to City Council
Amsterdam is losing money every day the city streets lights remain privately owned and not upgraded to energy efficient bulbs, according to an independent auditor.
Andrea L. Corsetti, marketing manager for Abbott Energy, last week presented Amsterdam Common Council members with an overview of the company’s proposal to assist the city with purchasing streets lights from National Grid and replacing bulbs to LEDs.
